The evening buffet was out of the twilight zone, 70% closed off, hours shortened and almost empty.and dont forget the smoke smell. (This was in the old wing.) Staff moved us to ground floor because any other room they wanted to charge more for the newer wing. My husband had recent foot surgery and stairs were hard, and their elevator kept getting stuck, and 6 inches above or below the floor and the doors jammed part way. Most hotel ventilation systems make it tolerable, but here smoke permeates EVERYTHING. We are in Vegas at least 12 nights a year and this is the first time any hotel smelled THIS bad of cigarette smoke. Free wifi was good, pool was good, staff friendly.but everything else was a problem. We had to be at McCarren at 4am and this initially seemed to suit the bill for location,low cost, and a free shuttle to the airport.
